Artaflex Falcon Series Module Product Announcement

Markham, Ontario, March 28, 2007. Artaflex announces that it began volume production of its AWP24S and AWS24S wireless modules in Q1 of 2007 and has released evaluation platform solutions to speed customer evaluation times. After initial product sampling in the fall of 2006, customers are now using Artaflex Falcon Series Modules in production to successfully add wireless connectivity to a range of industrial and consumer products. In addition, Artaflex announces evaluation solutions for its Falcon Series Modules using Cypress Semiconductor development platforms. Artaflex has developed firmware that customers can download from www.artaflexmodules.com that helps customers to quickly evaluate Artaflex modules in their application environment. These files can be programmed into existing Cypress development kits (CY3630EVK, CY3210PSOCEVAL1, CY3214USBEVAL), and once programmed will allow customers to receive and transmit packets, adjust power levels, adjust data rates, change transmission channels, and view signal strength.
